HTC is ISL NorthEast team’s lead sponsor

MUMBAI: Hero Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC has announced the name of HTC Mobiles as its title sponsor.

Consequently, the mobile brand will occupy the front chest position on the team jersey. Creatigies assisted in forming the deal.

The team’s co-owner John Abraham said, “For me football has always been a passion, and I am delighted to see the same passion shared by the team’s principal sponsor HTC. For us having such a vibrant, energetic global brand adorn the front of the jersey helps further reinforce our faith in the team’s youthful exuberance blended with global expertise. We do hope this will be a long and successful partnership.”

The team’s CEO Rahul Patil said, “We are extremely pleased with this association. HTC Mobiles represent youth and vibrancy, and these are also the key attributes of NEUFC. We are hopeful of having a great season in the upcoming HISL and are ready to take on the battle field.”

HTC India VP, country head Faisal Siddiqui said, “We are happy to have partnered with NEUFC in the very first year of their being. We wanted to be part of this soccer revolution and what better geography than North East when it comes to soccer. We would also like to thank John for his involvement and hands-on approach in running the club. We would like to wish NEUFC all the best for the upcoming season and are sure that they will perform exceedingly well.”
