Havas grows its India biz to Rs 3,500 crore, celebrates 10 years
MUMBAI: Havas Media Group, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in India, has made rapid progress in the Indian market. The media agency has grown its business from Rs 150 crore (Rs 1.5 billion) in 2006 to Rs 3500 crore (Rs 35 billion) in 2015.
Havas’ India staff strength has grown from 40 to over 400. Clients have expanded from four to 100+.
Havas is ranked among the top 5 media agencies in India by RECMA. It has been consistently rated as a “very good” agency by RECMA.
So what makes HAVAS a TenOnTen? “We have grown exponentially in India over the last decade and that gives me a lot of personal satisfaction. We all have strived hard to build it to this scale together and we are very proud of it. Am sure this momentum will only increase over years,” said Havas Media Group, India and South Asia CEO Anita Nayyar even as she unveiled the #HavasTenOnTen logo.
Marking its 10 years in India as an independent media agency in India, Havas launched a campaign, #HavasTenOnTen, on 17 August.
#HavasTenOnTen will be celebrated by it’s 400-member team spread across Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad over the next 10 days, with the final showdown in Agra.
The campaign aims to reflect on it’s past, present and future i.e. Rewind, Relive & Reveal. The employees have been engaging with themselves, co-workers and clients through a series of activities each day to recognize their contributions that has together made Havas a TenOnTen in every domain.
This year also marks as a milestone for the agency’s head office in Gurgaon as it takes a big leap to it’s swanky new location in Cyber Hub, DLF Cyber City Phase 3 from it’s earlier humble abode in DLF Building No. 9A, Cyber City.
