Tata Sky to add six new channels on 26 May

MUMBAI: After adding five high-definition (HD) channels, direct-to-home (DTH) operator Tata Sky is set to add six new channels on 26 May. These include three news channels.

Tata Sky will add Hindi Khabar (channel no 583), Gulistan News (channel no 1179), FTV India (channel no 772), Care World (channel no 773), Digvijay 24×7 (channel no 1644) and Surya Comedy (channel no 1854).

Hindi Khabar is a Hindi news channel while Gulistan News is a bilingual Hindi/Urdu channel. FTV India is a fashion channel while Care World is a healthcare channel. Digvijay 24×7 is a Kannada news channel. Surya Comedy is a newly launched Malayalam comedy channel.

Earlier, the DTH operator had added Sun TV Network’s newly launched HD channels, Surya HD, Udaya HD and Gemini Movies HD. It has also added Viacom18’s youth and music channel MTV HD+. Discovery Network’s newly launched sports channel DSports HD is also part of the addition.
