MIB withdraws six TV channel licences in June; total cancellations at 195
MIB has cancelled four uplinking and two downlinking licences in June. 30 TV channel licences have been cancelled in 2017 till 30 June. The total number of licence cancellations has jumped to 195 as on 30 June, from 189 in May.
Tamil news channel Cauvery News to launch on 21 Aug
The crowded Tamil news space will see a new player in Cauvery News, which is slated for its official launch on 21 Aug.
