Hindi movie channels revisit acquisition strategy in 2014


Insane pricing of films and lower ratings of some of the blockbusters on television kept broadcasters away from acquiring new films on most occasions in 2014. The second movie channels of the main broadcasters grew while ad revenue for the genre grew at 10-15%.
