Essel Group’s Living Entertainment receives 4 licences for infotainment channels
MIB has awarded four non-news licences to Essel Group-owned Living Entertainment Enterprises under the names Living Flavourz, Living Travelz, Living Rootz and Z Living. The company was incorporated on 26 February 2014 with a paid-up capital of Rs 110 cr. The two directors on the company’s board are Hitesh Vakil and Himanshu Mody.

TDSAT impleads Videocon d2h in ‘twin conditions’ case relating to a la carte pricing
ZEEL had challenged TRAI’s ‘twin conditions’ that state that (a) the a la carte rate of a pay channel forming part of a bouquet shall not exceed two times its RIO rate offered by the broadcaster for addressable systems; and (b) sum of a la carte rates of all the channels in the bouquet shall not exceed three times the bouquet rate.
