Astro in talks to acquire Anil Ambani’s Reliance Digital TV
Malaysia-based Astro, which has a 20% stake in Sun Direct, is in talks to buy out Anil Ambani’s DTH biz housed under Reliance Communications. Astro has started valuating Reliance Digital TV, the DTH arm of RCom.
ZEEL to buy balance 49% stake in India Webportal for Rs 200 cr; invest in Tagos
ZEEL will acquire remaining 49% stake in India Webportal for $30.7 mn to take full ownership of the digital asset. It is also acquiring a 12.5% stake in Bangalore-based Tagos for $2.5 mn.
Star India threatens to disconnect signals to NXT Digital
