260 TV channel applications pending with MIB, says Rathore
The process of granting TV channel licences is yet to gather pace as 260 applications are pending with the MIB, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said. The government has granted permissions to 42 channels in the year until November 2015. These include three news and 39 non-news channels.
No timeline set for analogue terrestrial TV switch-off, says Rathore
DD spends around 29% of its total expenditure annually on terrestrial distribution, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said.
