MCOS prez Iqbal Khan becomes all-India distributor of Ultra

MUMBAI: Ultra Distributors, a home video distribution company, has appointed Malwa Cable Operators Sangh (MCOS) president Iqbal Khan as an all-India distributor for marketing cable TV licences to corporate and independent cable TV operators.

As a distributor, Khan will market and negotiate Ultra and Krunal content with corporate and independent cable TV operators. Ultra has a big catalogue of movies and over one lakh songs in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Rajasthani and other regional languages of India.

Khan was earlier distributor for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Goa and Maharashtra.

Besides negotiating deals, Khan is also authorised to conduct raids and file complaints in case of copyright infringement.

Khan himself is a cable TV operator in Indore having 5,000 active subscribers and is among one of the top 10 cable TV operators in the city.
